Suite in A minor, from my upcoming collection "The Ultimate Renaissance + Baroque Fakebook Vol.1." I have no idea when this sheet music collection will be ready, where it will be available, or even which pieces of music will be in it. It's just something else I'm working on.

The idea for this collection is to create a simple, one-book soundtrack for a Renaissance Fair. The Lead Guitar plays almost entirely in First Position with a Capo at the Fifth or Seventh Fret. The Rhythm Guitar is mostly major and minor chords, with a few sevenths thrown in, and as few barre chords as I can get away. The Bass doubles the rhythms of the Rhythm Guitar and plays the lowest pitch in each chord. I hope to make editions for instruments in Bb, C, Eb, F, and Bass Clef as well.

Anyway, this suite is performed on Two Guitars, Bass, Melodica, and Tambourine and contains the following movements:
I. Prelude "Mit starken Stimmen" - J.S. Bach (1685-1750)
II. Galliard from "4th Book of Dances" - Claude Gervaise (1540-1583)
III. Andante from Suite in D minor - Marin Marais (1656-1728)
IV. "Upon a Summer's Day" from "The English Dancing Master" - attr. John Playford (1623-1687?)
V. Minuet from "2nd Book of Dances" - Nicolas Lebegue (1631-1702)
